Where can I legally buy cannabis in NYC?
Only at licensed New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) retail dispensaries. The Alchemy operates two licensed stores: Chelsea (302 8th Ave) and Flatiron (12 West 18th St).
What ID do I need?
A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID that shows you are at least 21. You will be asked for it at the door and again at the register.
How do I pre-order online?
Browse the live menu for the store you want, add items to your cart, and place the order. It is held under your name for pickup. Bring your ID to the counter to complete the purchase.
Can I pay with a credit card?
Federal banking rules keep most licensed dispensaries from taking credit cards for cannabis. Check the current accepted payment methods with the store before you go.
How much can I buy at once?
New York limits adult-use purchases to 3 ounces of cannabis flower or 24 grams of concentrate per day.
Can I get cannabis delivered?
The Alchemy offers same-day delivery in Manhattan. Enter your address on the live menu to see if you are in the delivery area. You must be 21 or older and show a valid photo ID when the order arrives.
Do tourists need anything special?
No. Any adult 21 or older with a valid government-issued photo ID can purchase. Note: you cannot transport cannabis across state lines, federal law prohibits it.
